This is for all the fans of horror in our class and those not easily scared. The London Dungeon is a 90 minute show that shows that is actor led and requires much audience participation. Through the tour the audience gets to participate in various reenactments of certain historical events in London. It was originally a museum in 1974, but it has progressed into a very popular horror themed attraction in London. Along the way, the audience will encounter actors who fill the roles of Jack the Ripper and Sweeney Todd. Also, some of the more dark historical events of London are represented such as the Black Death. Although, the Dungeon eliminated quite a bit of gore to become more family oriented, it would still be an interesting experience, mixing history and horror.
The experience would be relatively inexpensive with ticket prices at about twenty pounds per person when ordering online in advance. They also have offers for groups. They are normally open from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. The London Dungeon is also very easy to locate, being right down the road from Big Ben and right next door to the London Eye. Using the Waterloo Tube would drop you off at the station, just a five minute walk from The London Dungeon.
